Africa- EU relations and Partnership (Changing Narratives Panel) – Portugal

I was invited to speak on a panel in Portugal contributing to discussions shaping the relations between Africa and the EU.The event featured distinguished figure heads such as the President of Portugal & Mozambique.

event highlights include:

“I met Tina at the EurAfrican Forum in July 2019. The Forum positioned European and African youth as the hope for a better future and addresses new partnership paradigms between the two continents to promote innovation, entrepreneurship and new skills. Institutionnal particpants of the forum included: José Manuel Durão Barroso, Chairman of the EurAfrican and former President of the European Commission, Filipe Nyusi, President of the Republic of Mozambique, and Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, President of the Portuguese Republic.

Tina was without question one of the most outstanding speaker of the event. She was part of a panel entitled: Changing the narrative: valuing talent and diversity from migrant flows. Her contribution to the discussion provided thorough insights both for European and African institutionnals, entrepreneurs, investors. and for me, as a global mobility entrepreneur dealing with migration and issues related to Africa and the diaspora daily. Tina is not only a passionate activist; she is also personally delightful! “
